On my blog, I write about the Microfinance world in Cameroon, Base on my little experience over the years as a Cooperative Credit Unionist I bring to you the strengths, analysis and weaknesses of being a cooperative unionist, worker in a microfinance institution in all the regions of this country.

Most credit unions in Cameroon are affiliated to a network and all of these affiliated credit unions are classified as category one. Find all Second and third Category micro-finance anywhere in Cameroon

Majority of Micro Finance Institutions (MFI) in Cameroon are category one. The few Categories two and three are not located in every region. Category two MFI: Limited Liability companies such as micro-banks fall under this category. Deposits and savings are collected and lend on to third parties. Category three MFI: Deposits and Savings are not collected, but they institutions are lending ones. They include micro credit and project financing institutions.
